Rustic Panzanella
INGREDIENTS:
- 400 gr of home-made Tuscan bread
- 3 ripe tomotoes
- 1 cucumber
- 1 red onion
- basil
- 1 teaspoon of Wine Red Vinegar – End Line or Apple Cyder Vinegar – High Line Varvello
- 3 spoons of extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Take the bread after toasting it in the oven and slice it, moisten it with water and arrange it in a bowl to cover the whole bottom of the container.
Wash and slice a cucumber and mash it to remove all its vegetable water.
Peel the tomatoes, remove their seeds and arrange them in dices in a bowl with the sliced onion, the diced cucumber, the basil leaves, the oil and the Red Wine Vinegar – Varvello End Line or the Apple Cyder Vinegar – Varvello High Line.
Mix and pour the condiment you have prepared on the damp bread slices.
Before serving, wait for some minutes to get the bread well tasty.
